Happy Thanksgiving!

The Roussel family wishes you a very happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful this year - most importantly, our little girl, Lucy, who is celebrating her 1st Thanksgiving. Here are a few pictures of our little munchkin and a video of her new hat. We'll be heading up to New York City next week for a few days of pre-Christmas R&R, so we'll be sure to post pictures and videos of Lucy and her first trip to the Big Apple. Once again, we hope you have a great Thanksgiving Day!

Lucy's fascination with socks and shoes

Lucy absolutely loves shoes and socks. She actually prefers them over her toys. I was trying to load this video yesterday, but blogger didn't seem to cooperate. Here is our little girl playing with her socks. It's a little long, but you can definitely see her determination!

Happy 9 Months to Lucy!

Hi all! Today Lucy is a big nine months old! We marked it with a trip to her pediatrician for what is apparently a GI bug. :( One word describes our last few days... BLOWOUTS, and we are not talking about hair dryers! I won't go into any details on that except to say that she has had more baths in the last 4 days than she has in the last month.... Hopefully she'll be on the mend soon. I really cannot believe she is already nine months old! She has grown and changed so much it is incredible. Today's stats from the doctor's office: 18 lbs, 12 ounces, 29.5 inches long. We've already moved on to her big girl carseat, since she's too tall for her original. Our little girl is losing her baby chub and becoming "long and lean," according to Seth. Below is a recent video of Lucy having fun with her baby dolls. She was totally intrigued by their feet. Hope you all have a great weekend!
