Pics from Yesterday--Meeting Ellie Piedmont and Visiting the Pumpkin Patch

Hi all! We got to meet up with my old roomie Amy and her little one, Ellie, yesterday. It was super fun. Lucy has become obsessed with babies, so she wanted to grab little Ellie's face. We kept her away but she still squealed with delight every time she looked at her. Ellie is adorable and looks just like Amy! Then we went to the pumpkin patch. Lucy was awakened from her nap when we pulled up. Hence her annoyed expression in most of the pics. But hey, I guess I'd be less than thrilled if I were woken up and plopped in a field full of pumpkins for a bunch of pics. Enjoy!

Time Is Flying!

The days are just flying by. Lucy is now a big eight months old! Can you believe it?! I certainly can't. Here are some recent pics of her. Most of them were taken at her first trip to the park. She is still pulling up on everything. She now stands up in her crib and faces the door, waiting for us to go in and pick her up. She has also started waking up at 5:00 am, babbling nonstop. It is so funny, even at that insane hour. We are still working on sleeping through the night. Hopefully that will happen SOON, because mama needs some sleep!

Lucy's Almost Eight-Month Stats!

Hi! Lucy had her super-delayed six-month well visit earlier this week, where I got her most recent height/weight stats. Lucy is "long and lean," to use the words of the nurse: she is 28 inches long and 18 pounds, 7 ounces. I guess that's about 90% on height and average (50%?) for weight. I have been noticing that her leg chub is disappearing, which makes me sad, but it makes sense with her crawling so much. Here are two more pics. These are from Sept. Hi all! Sorry for not posting in forever. Life has just gotten so much busier since Lucy is crawling and pulling up on things. Today she even figured out how to climb OUT of her Bumbo seat. Nothing is safe! Anyway, here are some pics from Lucy's first tailgate. These are about two weeks old. Soon I'll be posting pics of Lucy's first trip to the park--she loved the swings.
