Christmas Fun

Lucy had a great first Christmas. Between her many relatives, she actually had like 4 or 5 Christmases! It was a fun, busy week. I'm sure Seth will do a slideshow later this week, but here are a handful of pictures from Christmas morning. The first one obviously isn't a Christmas picture, I just love it.

Hi all! So it has been a whirlwind week of visiting, eating, laughing, drinking, driving, unwrapping, etc., etc. Tonight we'll upload Christmas pics for your viewing enjoyment. Lucy's favorite toy was the Jack in the Box that we bought her.

In other news, Seth celebrated his 30th birthday on December 27th. Late Happy 30th, Seth! We love you! That day was also my parents' 36th wedding anniversary, so I have to wish them a Happy Anniversay as well. And finally, on December 28th, little Julia Savarese celebrated her FIRST birthday! Which only serves to remind me how fast time is flying and that Lucy's first birthday is just around the corner!

Lucy - A Time "Person of the Year" Finalist!

Check out some of our NYC trip pictures in the post below. We also wanted to show our little starlet, Lucy, and her debut as a Time magazine "Person of the Year" finalist for 2008. Barack Obama edged her out (announced today), but Lucy did make it to one of the big screens in Times Square! Here is a photo capturing her debut. Check out the people on the street for an accurate scale of just how big she was! She is defintely our person of the year (no offense Barack!)

A Million (Well, 67) NYC Pics

As promised, here are more pictures than you'll ever have time to look at. We hope you enjoy them. We had a great time in New York. We even got to meet up with our friends Christian and Allison, who are anxiously awaiting the birth of baby Aucoin. It was a wonderful trip! We took this same trip last year when I was 7 months pregnant, and, wow what a difference a year makes! Lucy had a great time on the trip. There was sooo much to look at, she really exhausted herself every day. She made lots of friends on the subway. She'd just stare at people til they smiled at her and then she'd grin right back or laugh. She's such a ham!

We'll post videos and another slideshow vignette from FAO Schwartz, where Lucy attacked the giant pink puppy stuffed animals. But this super long slideshow should tide you over til then. Good night, all!

Finally... Some NYC Pics!

Hi all! Sorry for the extended absence! We lost the cord we need to transfer pics from the camera to the computer, so we had to buy a new one. And then of course we found the old one like 2 hours later. Anyway, here are a few pics from our trip to NYC earlier this month.
